Your Mission
Your mission is to work with our medical team to provide medical services and preventative medical strategies to our community. You will accomplish this using hospital protocols and training.
Specific Duties
Students in veterinary technician and pre-vet programs follow the medical team's instructions to assist technicians and doctors in diagnostics, treatments (including surgery), on both livestock and companion animals. Pre-professional students also aid in maintaining excellent hospital cleanliness throughout the clinic and in our surgery suite. We build strong communication skills through this program, and students are expected to clearly communicate doctors and veterinary technicians to ensure their animals are cared for.This is an incredible opportunity to gain technical skills that you will need for your future profession, while working in a great environment.
Required Qualifications
  • A very good master of the English language (written and spoken) is required
  • Outgoing, positive, energetic, self-motivated and career-oriented.
  • Excellent time management skills in a fast -paced environment.
  • While we are willing to train on the job, this is not school.The student is being compensated to provide work while on site, not just to learn.
  • The right candidate must also be enrolled in a curriculum progressing towards their stated profession.
  • The ideal pre-veterinary candidate would be available Thursday mornings from 7:30-at least noon and two out of four Saturday mornings 7:30-11:30 am.

Offered Salary & Other Compensations
Compensation varies due to experience and contributions to the clinic.We are willing to pay top dollar to great team members.
