Security Officer Hospital Morgue Security Full Time

As a Security Officer Hospital Morgue Security Full Time in Hopewell, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will respond to security-related concerns, assist with sensitive situations, and deliver exceptional service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, people-first approach.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Wed 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Thur 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Fri 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations involving patients, visitors, staff, and healthcare operations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by healthcare location.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
  • Be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Be able to restrain individuals as needed.
  • Possess at least two years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
