Responsibilities
The Role
You'll build and adjust production schedules, keep materials and capacity aligned, and work closely with the teams who make everything happen. When something shifts-and it always does-you'll tweak the plan, reroute priorities, and keep everyone moving in the same direction.
Key Responsibilities
  • Run and adjust production schedules based on forecasts, orders, and capacity
  • Manage the flow of materials and parts between departments
  • Resolve schedule issues with production teams
  • Track performance and report status updates (the useful kind, not spreadsheets for the sake of spreadsheets)
  • Work with quality, shipping, and sales to shrink lead times and boost on-time delivery
  • Monitor processes and spot opportunities to do things better, faster, or smarter
  • Ensure safety, environmental, and quality requirements are met
  • Jump into other tasks as needed-because production doesn't always read the job description

Qualifications
About You / What You'll Bring
  • A BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years in production planning or a closely related function
  • Strong knowledge of production control, supply chain concepts, and MRP II
  • Confident with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • A calm, organized approach to problem-solving (especially when the plan blows up at 9 a.m.)
  • Clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze data and turn it into practical decisions
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365-bonus points if you've survived an implementation
  • Manufacturing experience in a similar industry

1099 - Contract (12 months)
Pay Rate = $35 - $45 per hour
Onsite
