What is a moose?

Moose are the largest members of the deer family, known for their impressive size, long legs, and distinctive broad, flat antlers found on males. They are native to northern regions of North America, Europe, and Asia, and are well adapted to cold environments with forests and wetlands. Moose are herbivores, feeding mainly on leaves, twigs, aquatic plants, and bark. They are solitary animals and are most active during dawn and dusk. Moose play an important role in their ecosystem, influencing vegetation growth and providing food for predators.
