Moonlighting Resident: Physician Family Practice

Clinica Sierra Vista, accredited by the rigorous Joint Commission, serves patients at 31 health centers in Fresno and Kern counties. Our services include Pediatric Care, Adult Care, Dental Care, Behavioral Health, Case Management, Prenatal & Women's Health, Substance Abuse Treatment, HIV/AIDS testing and treatment, Health Education, Outreach and WIC services. We partner with local governments, social services departments, businesses and nonprofit leaders to address the full range of needs for our patients. We're looking for someone to join our team as a Moonlighting Resident: Physician Family Practice who:

Provides outpatient primary care services. The MD/DO must demonstrate experience working in a diverse environment, be flexible, knowledgeable, and compassionate towards the care of our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a warm, caring atmosphere where the health of our patients is of top priority.

Hourly Rate:

  1. $125.00 / Hourly Rate

Essential Functions:

  1. Adheres to the highest standards of medical ethics at all times.
  2. Assures quality of care for all patients at all times and regularly participates in clinic Peer Review and Quality Assurance Programs.
  3. Adheres to and complies with Bureau of Primary Healthcare standards of clinical practice.
  4. Shares in phone-triage responsibilities with other CSV physicians.
  5. Establishes and maintains affiliations and/or privileges with local hospital(s) if needed.
  6. May represent CSV in professional groups.
  7. May assist the Chief Medical Officer in design, implementation, and evaluation of health care programs/protocols for patients and staff.
  8. Required to supervise advance assigned practice providers (Nurse Practitioner's and/or Physicians Assistant's) on- site and by telephone with outlying clinic sites
