Description:
10-Month- Tier 1 Support Staff Assistant
Primary assignment will be in the athletic office.
Job Summary:
  1. Enter data and run reports for appropriate systems
  2. Operate copying and laminating equipment
  3. Manage communication through making, answering and directing calls, making announcements, writing passes, taking messages, and scheduling appointments
  4. Manage distribution and filing of materials, including in the test make-up area and mailroom.
  5. Prepare and proof documents and materials for faculty and offices
  6. Provide assistance to students in the media center and offices
  7. Assist with student IDs
  8. Provide backup clerical services for any department as needed.

Qualifications:
  1. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  2. Ability to maintain accuracy in data entry
  3. Evidence of good interpersonal and communication skills
  4. Ability to provide direction and information to students, staff, and community members
  5. Evidence of organizational skills
  6. Evidence of good judgement, trustworthiness, flexibility, emotional maturity, and self-motivation

Working Conditions:
Is under the supervision of the Support Staff administrator and may receive direction from department administrators.
Terms of Employment
Salary and benefits to be established by the agreement between the Board of Education and the United Support Staff Council.
