Teacher Aide / Montessori Assistant Guide (Full-Time) - Toddler

Supports Montessori Lead Guide in our Toddler (16 months to 3 years old) learning environment.

Offering support and guidance to young children in collaboration with experienced colleagues, you will be an integral part of ensuring parents peace of mind.

We are seeking an instructional assistant to support the Montessori Lead with establishing and maintaining a peaceful Montessori environment.

Role & Responsibilities

    • Foster a peaceful multi-age classroom environment that promotes the students' physical, social, and emotional development.
    • Support the spark in the classroom.
    • Complete school-sponsored AMI/AMS Montessori training.
    • Implement Montessori philosophy and curriculum in support of Montessori Leads.
    • Support the delivery oflessons that accommodate for differences in student learning styles.
    • Introduce resources, including technology, at the direction of Montessori lead.
    • Assist Montessori Lead guide in maintaining an engaging, inviting, and respectful classroom.
    • Practice classroom management procedures and standards for desired student behavior.
    • Establish and maintain open communications with Montessori Leads.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Maintain a clean and orderly classroom.

      Qualifications

      • High School Diploma
      • Prefer someone pursuing undergraduate degree

      Physical Requirements

      • Able to sit on the floor to assist with lessons.
      • Able to lift at least 25 pounds.
