As a Monitor Tech, you will be responsible for continuous observation and analysis of patients' cardiac rhythms to detect and report changes.
Every day you will meticulously monitor EKG strips, identify arrhythmias, measure intervals, and promptly communicate critical findings to nursing staff and healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation.
To be successful, you will demonstrate sharp observational skills, a thorough understanding of cardiac rhythms, and the ability to act quickly and precisely under pressure, crucial for patient safety and timely intervention.

  • Maintains continuity of care by processing patient records/orders accurately and promptly from admission to discharge.
  • Completes required documentation in patient's chart.
  • Maintains continuity of care by processing patient's orders promptly.
  • Relays verbal/written information in a timely manner.
  • Completes work order or arranges bio med intervention when work required.
  • Maintains a clean, safe environment.

Required

  • High School Graduate or High School GED or Equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred

  • Previous experience with a patient care-module or personal computer
  • Two (2) years acute care experience
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support
