What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an RTIC?

To thrive as a Respiratory Therapist in Critical Care, you need a solid background in respiratory therapy, critical care procedures, and a valid state license or CRT/RRT certification. Familiarity with ventilators, blood gas analyzers, and electronic medical record systems is typically required. Strong critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills help you navigate high-pressure situations and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. These competencies are vital for delivering effective respiratory support and ensuring positive patient outcomes in critical care environments.

What is a Monday Wednesday Friday RTIC?

Monday Wednesday Friday RTIC jobs typically refer to part-time positions or schedules where employees work only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The acronym 'RTIC' may relate to a specific company, organization, or program, but without further context, it most commonly denotes a shift pattern. These jobs are popular among students, parents, or those seeking flexible work arrangements. Duties and expectations vary depending on the employer and industry, but the defining aspect is the three-day workweek.

What does a Monday Wednesday Friday RTIC do?

A Monday Wednesday Friday RTIC employee usually works three set days each week, which can provide a predictable routine and allow for greater flexibility on non-working days. This structure often appeals to those seeking part-time employment or balancing other commitments, such as education or caregiving. While the reduced hours can help with work-life balance, employees should be prepared for potentially longer shifts or busier days, as responsibilities are condensed into fewer workdays. Collaboration with full-time staff may require clear communication to ensure seamless workflow across the week.

Who is KidStrong?
KidStrong is a science-based child development program designed to help kids Win at Life. We provide a strategic combination of physical, mental, and character-building activities that accelerate child development milestones. Our curriculum is built on three core pillars—Strong Character, Strong Body, and Strong Mind—delivered through age-based classes for children from infant to 11 years old. We aren't just a gym; we are a support system where kids develop self-confidence and learn emotional regulation, critical thinking, and teamwork while building physical skills.
Direct Accountability for Programming Success
As a KidStrong Coach, you are directly accountable for the successful delivery of our science-based curriculum. You are the 'Class Commander,' responsible for the safety, timing, and high-energy execution of every session. Success in this role is not passive; you are measured by your ability to command the floor, precisely implement programming, and ensure every family feels the impact of the KidStrong experience. You take ownership of the room and are the primary driver of member growth and retention.
Commitment to Effort & Attitude
We require a 'Low Ego' mindset and 100% effort every single day. At KidStrong, we expect you to lead by example, bringing a professional and infectious attitude to everything from floor coaching to center maintenance. You must be comfortable 'calling an audible' when a class dynamic shifts, ensuring the high standards of the brand are never compromised. You put the success of the kids and the team above your own interests, showing up with the energy required to inspire the next generation.
Dedication to Self-Development
Stagnation is the enemy of excellence. You are expected to be a perpetual student of our craft, committing to ongoing Coach Certification and technical mastery. You must be highly coachable—actively seeking, welcoming, and implementing feedback from your leaders and peers. Your commitment to self-development ensures you are always leveling up your skills, enabling you to eventually mentor others and climb the KidStrong ladder. If you are not growing, you are not coaching.
Who You Are
- You are confident, energetic, outgoing, and have a passion for working with kids and their development.
- You have an athletic and/or coaching background.
- You are accountable to quality work and effort and committed to continuous improvement and self-development.
- You have experience working directly with children and families in a fast-paced environment
- You are CPR & 1st Aid certified or will obtain certification at your own expense within 30 days of hire.
