Job description

Position Overview

NCCH is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part TimeĀ Certified Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations. Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, this role assists with medication preparation, inventory management, billing processes, and overall pharmacy workflow.

Scheduled work dates and hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00am-5:00pmĀ 

Workdays may change based on operational needs. Employee may also be required to provide coverage at our sister facility in Benson.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain pharmacy stock, monitor inventory levels, and order medications as neededĀ 
  • Complete billing procedures and ensure accurate patient billing documentationĀ 
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, including IV preparation and labelingĀ 
  • Accurately record medication dispensing and scan/label barcodesĀ 
  • Monitor medication administration records and report potential errors
  • Maintain pharmacy records, reports, and documentation
  • Support nursing departments with pharmacy needsĀ 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy areaĀ 
  • Assist with quality data collection and performance tracking

Qualifications - Required

  • Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training programĀ 
  • Current, unrestricted Arizona Pharmacy Technician License
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)Ā 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical, nursing, or pharmacy setting
