Job description

Position: Adjunct Lecturer

Department: General Education

Classification: Part-time, Non-benefit eligible

Location: Mesa, AZ

Rate: 1400 per contact hour (with a terminal degree) and 1200 per contact hour (without a terminal degree).  This compensation is per contact hour and is subject to change based on class size.

Brief overview of duties: Teach interdisciplinary seminar (IDS) courses for the university's general education program.
 
While there is an opportunity to teach courses for Benedictine University on the Mesa campus on a regular basis in 2027 and beyond, there is an immediate need for an instructor to teach the following two sections in Fall 2026 (beginning on August 31, 2026):
 
IDS 2201: Catholic and Benedictine Intellectual Traditions (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 - 8:50 a.m.)
 
IDS 2201: Catholic and Benedictine Intellectual Traditions (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 - 9:50 a.m.)
