Job description

Job Summary:

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking an experienced caregiver to provide care in Lawrenceville, Georgia on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for a total of 16 hours per week. This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical industry.

The caregiver will provide compassionate, safe, and high-quality care to seniors, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort, well-being, and safety. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring professional looking to make a positive impact on seniors’ lives.

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance to seniors, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
  • Administer medications and monitor medical conditions as instructed
  • Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and physical stimulation
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, including light housekeeping
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Follow care plans and document all care provided accurately and in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience, preferably with seniors
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Clear TB test or chest X-ray
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities
  • Ability to pass background and drug screenings
