Utility Plant Accountant (Part-Time | 5-Month contract) San Dimas, CA Utilities Industry $30–$40/hr We’re seeking a Utility Plant Accountant to support capital projects, fixed assets, and month-end close in a utility environment. Schedule (Onsite): Alternating weeks: • Week 1: Tuesday & Thursday • Week 2: Monday, Wednesday & Friday ?? 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Key Duties: • Capital project tracking, budgets, and work orders • GL reconciliations, roll forwards, and month-end close • Fixed assets (setups, depreciation, reconciliations) • Support audits, SEC reporting (10-Q/10-K), and regulatory filings • Contract tracking, refunds, and data analysis Requirements: • Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance • 5+ years accounting experience (utility industry preferred) • Strong Excel and ERP experience (JD Edwards a plus) Part-time, 5-month coverage role.
