🩻 Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist, you will:

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients before and during procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining excellent image quality.
• Complete appropriate MRI safety screening and identify potential contraindications.
• Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to their needs.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records.
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow established patient safety, infection prevention, and MRI safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe imaging environment.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and excellent patient communication.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of MRI Technologist experience
• ARRT – RT(R)(MR) required
• ARMRIT certification may be accepted
• BLS through American Heart Association
• Strong MRI technology and patient-care skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn facility-specific applications
