As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Engineer I (Entry-Level Civil Engineer) to join our team at the primary office location of Middleton/The Villages (HQ).

Job Description

As an Engineer I for Civil Engineering, you will support senior engineers and project managers by performing routine aspects of civil engineering assignments. You’ll assist with design, field work, and technical documentation on a variety of civil projects including site development, stormwater systems, utilities, roadways, and drainage. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience, grow under the mentorship of licensed professionals, and begin building your engineering career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with civil engineering design using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software.

  • Support design teams with calculations, plan production, and data collection for permitting and construction.

  • Conduct field work and site visits as directed by senior engineers.

  • Collaborate with other disciplines to support project delivery from start to finish.

  • Prepare and contribute to technical reports and documentation.

  • Learn and apply CFB’s standards, client expectations, and civil engineering best practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET/EAC‑accredited program or a closely related engineering discipline.

  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in office and field settings.
