Job description

Job DescriptionDo you have manufacturing experience and know how to drive a forklift? Ocean Spray is hiring Machine Operators for a Monday to Friday day shift at our Wisconsin Rapids Production Plant-this is more than just a job; it's a chance to build a real career. You'll start at $23.83/hour.

This is a full-time, year-round position. You'll work indoors in a fast-paced manufacturing environment making Sweetened Dried Cranberries (Craisins) with a team that values growth and stability.What You'll DoAs a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:Drum Filling & PackagingPrepare drums and totes for filling (install liners, remove lids, etc.)Operate filling equipment using touch screen controlsFill drums with juice or concentrate accuratelySeal, label, and secure finished productsMove finished drums to storage using a forklift and high lift.Production SupportTransfer juice and concentrate between tanks, drums, and tankersAssist with blending and testing concentrate as neededLoad and unload tanker trucksMonitor and record production dataEquipment & Process OperationsSet up and operate conveyor systemsEnsure filling equipment is properly connected and functioningEnter data into systems and maintain accurate production recordsSanitation & SafetyPerform daily cleaning (CIP - Clean in Place) of equipment and work areasSupport plant-wide sanitation activities during downtimeFollow all safety procedures and food safety (GMP) standardsWhat We're Looking ForAbility to follow detailed instructions and proceduresComfortable working with equipment and technology (touch screens, data entry)Strong attention to detail and safetyGood communication and teamwork skillsWillingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime when neededBasic QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferredAbility to obtain forklift and high-lift certifications (training provided)Ability to follow safety programs and guidelinesScheduleTypically Monday-Friday during standard operationsMay require overtime or schedule adjustments to support production needsWho We Are: You might have our iconic cranberry juice in your fridge or have gotten into heated holiday debate about what's better - canned or fresh cranberry sauce.
