Job description

Majors Plastics is looking for a hands-on Molding Supervisor to lead and support our production team. This role is responsible for keeping the shift running safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards, meeting production goals, and holding the team accountable. We’re looking for a strong leader who is comfortable being on the floor, solving problems, developing employees, and working closely with other departments to keep production moving.

The selected candidate will be assigned to either 2nd or 3rd shift.

Essential Job Functions

1. Review IQMS Daily.

2. Responsible for maintaining the quality of the products.

3. Must maintain good housekeeping policies.

4. Ensure company safety procedures are being followed.

5. Responsible for training all shift personnel and ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.

6. Adjust injection molding machines and their processes when required.

7. Must report machine and tooling problems, via maintenance and tooling work orders in a timely manner.

8. Ensure complete and accurate reports are completed daily.

9. Perform all other duties assigned by upper management.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

1. Experience in supervision in a manufacturing environment preferred.

2. Molding experience helpful, but not required.

3. High School graduate or equivalent.

4. Good computer skills are helpful.

5. The ability to communicate effectively verbally, and in writing.

6. Strong technical ability.

7. Forklift experience.
