Title: Web Developer
100% Remote
Project Description and Background
  • The Integration App Team Specialist will lead the replacement effort including integrating multiple new solutions, integration with existing internal and external applications, and the migration of current data to the new systems.
  • The duties include API development, database design, data schema mapping, application development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and problem resolution in an iterative and interactive style of development.

Work Schedule, Location & Travel Expectations:
• Monday through Friday, up to forty (40) hours per week with some options for flex schedule but ensuring at least six hours a day align with the client's standard operating hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 PM Pacific time.
• Work remotely from the candidate's home office within the United States.
• Occasional travel to other client's locations may be required (this travel will be reimbursable in alignment with current state and agency travel policies).
Mandatory & Desirable Knowledge and/or Skills Mandatory:
• Bachelor's degree in either Computer Science/Information Technology and 7+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience developing applications
• 5+ years of experience developing async Soap and Restful APIs and connecting APIs to applications
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server and T-SQL
• 5+ years of experience testing integrations
• 4+ years of developing data migration approaches and leading related activities
• 4+ years of experience developing data schemas for legacy systems and mapping data from legacy systems to SQL databases
• 4+ years using Azure functions for data migrations
• 3+ years of experience using SSIS for data migrations
• 3+ years using DevOps
• Programming experience using .NET MVC framework (ASP.NET, C#)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
• Proven track record of organizing and managing complex data projects from planning through execution
• Experience using Git based source control
• Developing applications using JavaScript
• Cloud certifications
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent documentation and organizational skill
