As a Route Driver, you'll play an important role in delivering quality frozen products while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver ice cream and frozen food products to established customer accounts
- Safely load and unload products using proper equipment
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Merchandise products and identify opportunities to grow sales on your route
- Complete deliveries accurately and on schedule
- Process invoices, collections, and account reconciliations when necessary
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain route paperwork, sales records, and expense logs
- Keep your assigned truck clean and well maintained
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Valid Class B CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one)
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen
- Clean driving record (3-year MVR)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Dependable, organized, and safety-conscious
