Job description

Would you like to join a team of passionate individuals who aim to serve the seniors in their next chapter of life? Monastery Heights, an Assisted Living Residence, is looking for dependable Concierge / Receptionist to perform a variety of clerical duties in the reception area. The position reports directly to the Business Director.

This is carried out by improving quality of life for not only the residents, but the staff that are responsible for the resident's care.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Concierge / Receptionist Include:

  • Professional image that positively represents Monastery to residents and the public;

  • Operates facility telephone, copier/scanner/fax.

  • Follows checklist for opening and closing facility (Set-up/Lock-down Procedures);

  • Coordinates Emergency Call System with Wellness Dept.;

  • Coordinates resident transportation needs for medical appointments in conjunction with Nurses;

  • Perform various clerical duties, typing, filing, faxing, and copying;

  • Maintains Excel spreadsheets for various projects;

  • Sort and distribute incoming mail

  • Enforces visitation policies and procedures; primary focus on resident security;

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Requirements of the Concierge / Receptionist position include:

  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Email,/Calendar, Excel, etc.; (preferred)

  • Valid proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, unless approved exemption
