Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and patient-focused Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our team at Mona Lisa Dental. This role is ideal for individuals eager to assist in providing exceptional dental care and who thrive in a supportive environment. As a dental assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists, ensuring that each patient receives the highest level of care and service. This is a wonderful opportunity to work within a collaborative and friendly atmosphere surrounded by experienced dental professionals.

Please note that this position is not remote and requires presence on-site at our clinic.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assisting dentists during various dental procedures.
  • Taking and developing dental X-rays.
  • Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment.
  • Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms before and after procedures.
  • Providing patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
  • Performing basic administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
  • Assisting with front desk duties, such as receiving patients and managing phone calls, as needed.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment at all times.
Requirements
  • X-Ray certification required.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively and adapt within a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with dental office software.
  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory. New graduates are welcomed to apply.
