What is a mold shop manager?

Mold Shop Managers oversee the operations of a mold manufacturing facility, ensuring that molds used in industrial processes—such as plastic injection molding or metal casting—are produced efficiently and meet quality standards. They supervise staff, manage workflow, maintain equipment, and coordinate with other departments to meet production schedules. Mold Shop Managers are also responsible for budgeting, training, and implementing safety protocols. Their role is essential in industries where precision and timely delivery of molds are critical to the manufacturing process.
