About the Role:

The Operator A Mold Shop position is a critical role responsible for the efficient and safe operation of machinery and equipment within a manufacturing or production environment of Resin mold production and development. The primary goal of the Operator A Mold Shop position is to ensure continuous production flow of mold making by monitoring equipment performance, performing routine checks of slurry parameters and other chemicals, and promptly addressing any operational issues. This Operator A Mold Shop role requires adherence to safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe workplace and deliver products that meet company specifications. The Operator A Mold Shop role will collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to optimize processes and contribute to overall operational excellence. Success in this role directly impacts production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate industrial machinery.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Basic communication to provide professional interpretation between Bilingual Vietnamese (and Japanese).
  • Familiarity with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control processes.
  • Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Certification in workplace safety or equipment operation.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights or weekends if required.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues, escalating complex problems to maintenance teams.
  • Maintain accurate production logs and report any deviations or incidents to supervisors promptly.
  • Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions to promote a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and improve operational processes.
  • Assist in the setup and calibration of equipment as needed to support production requirements.
  • Willing to perform tasks, intuition to improve process and comfort and with daily cleaning in the work area.
  • Demonstrate precision to detailed instruction; and a high focus on the high standards of craftmanship environment.

The required skills enable the Operator A to safely and efficiently manage machinery, ensuring continuous production and adherence to quality standards. Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are essential for identifying potential equipment issues and maintaining operational integrity. Communication skills and Proficient Bilingual in Japanese and Vietnamese facilitate effective reporting and collaboration with team members and supervisors to resolve problems quickly. Good manual dexterity. This roles require high skin sensitivity to handling resin, testing is required to ensure the employee is safe to all chemicals. Preferred skills such as familiarity with SOPs and maintenance procedures enhance the operator's ability to contribute to process improvements and reduce downtime. Overall, these skills support a productive, safe, and high-quality manufacturing environment.

Applicant will be working with chemicals during production of molds and understand that exposure of chemicals with be apart of job tasks and PPEs are provided and requirement while performing tasks.

The indoor facility is a controlled environment, with heat, humidity and barometric pressure can fluctuate depending on area of plant. Depending on job exposure to odors and fumes that require the use of Personal Protective equipment. An appropriate requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, protective gloves and safety shoes.
