What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Supervisor Warehouse to assist in leading the daily operation and success of our Fontana CA, warehouse location.  This position will oversee a team of 22 personnel . Will also participate in planning, developing and implementing optimum service delivery strategies to achieve desired results.

What you'll do:

• Assist in managing operational activities for warehouse locations including budget, staffing, KPIs and record keeping
• Resolve customer service issues and operational issues and implement process improvements to ensure effective and smooth-flowing operations of warehouse location
• Work with upper management to coordinate and improve service
• Promote safe work environment through adherence to OSHA and DOT regulations as well as Mohawk Safety polices and Standards.
• Conduct regular safety meetings.
• Oversee inventory control, adjustments and cycle count process
• Ensure all employees are treated in a fair, equitable and consistent manner

What you have:

• Four-year college degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job.
• 4-6 years of progressively responsible experience in warehousing and/or logistics operations, including a minimum of 2 years of experience supervising employees and implementing cost-saving measures

• Communicating and negotiating effectively with internal and external partners in written, oral and interpersonal form
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and mentor employees
• Working collaboratively as part of a fast-paced team, with strong personal organization, poise and professionalism
• Achieving results through team efforts, challenging established practices and drawing relevant conclusions
• Ability and willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions to market and sell new ideas within the division
