Builders is Actively Hiring for a Class B CDL Driver!

Starting wage will vary on experience.

About the Role:

The CDL Driver - Class B position is crucial for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of lumber and building materials, trusses and/or wall panels to contractors and customers. This role involves operating commercial vehicles while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading products, utilizing a Moffett forklift to facilitate efficient operations. Local, in-state and out-of-state travel will be required depending on the Division's location. A key outcome of this position is to maintain high customer satisfaction through reliable delivery services. Ultimately, the driver plays a vital role in the supply chain, contributing to the overall success of the operations.

Home Nights! Overtime available pending season and business needs! No Saturdays or Sundays!


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class B driver's license.
  • Proven experience operating commercial vehicles.
  • Certification or training in Moffett forklift operation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the lumber & building material industry.
  • Knowledge of local and regional delivery routes.
  • Ability to haul oversized loads.
  • Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate Class B commercial vehicles to transport goods to various customer locations.
  • Load and unload products using a Moffett forklift, ensuring safe handling and compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
