This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Regional Sales Manager based near New York City with Modular, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.

  • Responsible for planning and implementing locally relevant sales & distribution strategy to drive growth and market share.
  • Develops and drives credibility and long-term relationships with customers and the A&D community in the region in order to build a strong pipeline and fulfill sales objectives. Partners with agents, reps and dealers to make joint calls with specifiers.
  • Achieves revenue, margins and sales productivity efficiencies targets within the assigned geographical area.
  • Maximize sales opportunities by creating demand through Modular named specifications
  • Train agents, reps and dealers on MLI brand, products and sales tools

More about you

  • 5+ years commercial sales across a multi-state territory
  • Bachelor's Degree or years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Proven track record in key account management and consultative selling principles in a fast-paced technology or architectural industry
  • Physically located within greater NYC/NJ/Long Island vicinity
  • Technical understanding of lighting requirements, LEDs, and lighting controls
  • Proven track record in customer relationship building with designers, reps, EDs and builders

  • Salary:$121,000 - $177,000 based on experience
  • Bonus:target bonus opportunity - 35%
