Job description

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale modular healthcare construction projects within a fast-paced design-build and manufacturing-driven environment, with direct ownership across project execution, estimating support, and operational coordination.

This role operates within a modular construction organization focused on complex healthcare and institutional projects, requiring a versatile operator who can manage both field execution and preconstruction responsibilities. The position is critical to supporting continued company growth and expanding project backlog across healthcare and large-scale commercial markets. This is not a narrowly focused estimating role; the ideal candidate will own projects from planning through execution while collaborating closely with operations, manufacturing, field teams, and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead modular healthcare and large-scale commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality targets
  • Develop and review project estimates, budgets, bid packages, and cost projections to support project execution and profitability
  • Oversee subcontractors, vendors, field operations, and internal teams across active project phases
  • Interface directly with clients, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders to drive project delivery and resolve execution issues
  • Coordinate project schedules, procurement activities, and manufacturing timelines within a modular or prefabricated construction environment
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope requirements to ensure alignment throughout project execution
  • Monitor project financials, change orders, forecasting, and reporting to maintain operational and cost control visibility
  • Support preconstruction efforts by evaluating project feasibility, constructability, and scheduling requirements
  • Partner with leadership and operations teams to improve project delivery processes and support company growth initiatives
  • Maintain strong communication across field, office, and manufacturing teams to ensure efficient project coordination and execution

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience managing large-scale commercial, healthcare, or institutional construction projects
  • Experience operating in a hybrid project management and estimating capacity required
  • Modular or prefabricated construction experience strongly preferred
  • Healthcare construction experience preferred, though candidates with comparable large-scale project complexity will be considered
  • Proven experience owning projects from preconstruction through closeout with direct responsibility for execution outcomes
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project schedules
  • Experience working within a general contractor, design-build, EPC, or manufacturing-integrated construction environment preferred
  • Stable career history with demonstrated long-term tenure required; frequent job changes without clear progression will not align with this role

Benefits

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plan options, paid time off, and other company-sponsored programs.
