Retail Pharmacy Manager Location: Alturas, CA Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | On-site Compensation: $75.04 - $112.75/hour (DOE) + Sign-On Bonus The Staff Pad has partnered with Modoc Medical Center to identify an experienced and motivated Retail Pharmacy Manager to lead pharmacy operations in a community-focused healthcare setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed pharmacist who is ready to take on a leadership role while making a meaningful impact on patient care in a close-knit rural community. About the Role The Retail Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of retail pharmacy services, including medication procurement, distribution, storage, and safe administration

This role ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations while maintaining high standards of patient care and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Oversee procurement, distribution, and storage of medications Ensure safe drug administration practices are followed Supervise pharmacy staff in compounding, packaging, and labeling Maintain quality assurance and controlled substance security Manage pharmacy inventory, records, and charge systems Report and address medication errors in accordance with policy Monitor financial performance, including sales and expense control Maintain and update pharmacy policies and procedures Qualifications Active Pharmacist license in the state of California Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from an ACPE-accredited program Current BLS certification Leadership or management experience preferred Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills Benefits Relocation assistance up to $5,000 (eligible candidates) Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D coverage Retirement plans including 457(b) with employer match and pension Paid time off, employee assistance program, and longevity bonuses Tuition assistance and additional employee perks Why Join
