Job description

Salary: $18 - $23/hour

We are a well-established medical and cosmetic dermatology private practice seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable self-starter to join our clinical team. Our practice is fast-paced and patient-centered, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional clinical care and an outstanding patient experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Room patients promptly and accurately obtain and document medical history, chief complaint, medications, and allergies.
  • Prepare patients for examination and procedures, ensuring comfort and proper positioning.
  • Assist providers during medical and surgical procedures, including set-up, and post-procedure care instructions.
  • Perform and/or coordinate clinical tasks including specimen collection, wound care, suture removal, injections, and other in-office treatments as directed.
  • Order, collect, label, and process laboratory specimens; ensure proper documentation and follow-up of results.
  • Triage patient phone calls and electronic messages, escalating appropriately and communicating clearly with providers and patients.
  • Serve as a medical scribe, accurately documenting visit details, assessments, and treatment plans in the EMR.
  • Maintain exam rooms by cleaning, sanitizing, stocking supplies, and ensuring readiness between patients.
  • Monitor inventory levels and notify leadership of supply needs.
  • Adhere to all OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and practice compliance standards.
  • Support a positive, professional patient experience through clear communication and teamwork.


Qualifications:

  • Experience in a medical office setting is preferred, dermatology experience is a plus.
  • EHR/EMR experience preferred, EMA/ModMed a plus.


Expected hours: 37 per week.

Saturday availability (8am-1130am) is required and assigned on a rotating schedule. Typically not more than once a month.
