Job description

Looking for a Controls Technician to troubleshoot, and modify PLCs and HMIs for a direct hire position. Previous experience as a Maintenance Controls Tech, Controls Electrician, Field Service Tech is desired. 
Responsibilities of the Controls Technician:
  • Layout, design, build, wire, install, program, and troubleshoot electrical control panels, junction boxes, limit switches, sensors, motors (AC/DC), conduit, and other electrical components.
  • Commission new machines.
  • Wire new machines and equipment with the latest electrical controls and components.
  • Program, troubleshoot, and modify Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs and HMIs.
  • Integrate, troubleshoot, and modify automation systems.

Desired requirements of the Controls Technician:
  • Experience programming, troubleshooting, and modifying PLCs and HMIs.
  • Experience wiring machines.
  • Able to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
  • Familiar with electrical codes and standards.
  • Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is a plus.
  • Experience in programming robotics is a plus.
  • Able to travel 45% of the time.
  • Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
Pay range: $60,000 - $110,000.
