Job Summary:
Onyx Point, LLC. is seeking an Agile Developer to be responsible for the full stack development of Cloud-based applications and microservices. The role involves analyzing user requirements, designing and coding software, debugging, and integrating existing systems, while leading teams in the software development process.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
• Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
• Write or review software and system documentation
• Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas
• Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project
• Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance
• Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design
• Design or implement complex database or data repository interfaces/queries
• Analyze, design, verify, validate, implement, apply and maintain software systems
• Develop and provide appropriate documentation and training
• Present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholders
Qualifications:
Required:
• An active TS/SCI W/ full scope polygraph security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• Bachelor’s degree plus 9 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 7 years of relevant experience
• An Associate’s degree plus 11 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 13 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
• Proficient in Software development process

• Practice software quality through tools and processes
• Develop software solutions
• Design, develop, modify codes to support system requirements
• Assist in developing innovative approaches
• Familiar with: spring, Kubernetes, docker, Terraform, Swagger and AWS managed services
• Cloud Experience: Shall have one (1) year demonstrated work experience with full stack development; front-end, API and backing datastores
• Shall have demonstrated work experience with Spring Boot microservices, 12-Factor applications, serialization such as JSON and/or BSON and CI/CD pipelines
