Job description

THE NORAL BRAND: Location: St. Louis, MO. 

The Normal Brand has gained a reputation for providing durable and long-lasting products that is above all - comfortable. Jimmy Sansone started the company by selling online out of his parents' basement in 2015, and was soon joined by his brothers, Conrad and Lan to run it together. They opened their first brand store in 2019 in St. Louis, Missouri, which has been voted the number one men's clothing store in St. Louis for two years running. The Normal Brand now operates eleven brick and mortar stores of its own around the country, sells to 500 wholesale partners, and sells online through its website, which serves customers across the United States and globally at https://thenormalbrand.com/.

MEN'S FIT MODEL: This is a part-time opportunity to be a part of the design process and to influence the comfort and fit of our clothing. You will assist the Technical Designers during live fit sessions by providing detailed and constructive feedback on various types of garments. 

Requirements

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

       Trying on a range of garments for our design and technical teams to assess and improve the fit, drape, and visual appearance.

       Provide constructive feedback on the fit, movement, and feel of garments, as well as how the garment fits with the brand'sstyle and intent.

       Maintaining consistent body measurements.

       Participate in regular fitting sessions and be comfortable standing for long periods.

       Maintain a professional attitude and respect for the confidentiality of designs and upcoming collections.

       Must be comfortable being photographed for internal documentation and record keeping. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

       Prior fit modeling experience is a plus but not required.

       Understanding of brand history and its aesthetic. 

       Ability to provide constructive, tactful, and positive feedback. 

       Comfortable trying on various types of clothing.

       Flexible schedule to accommodate fitting sessions.

       To ensure the best fit for our garments, we are seeking a fit model with the following measurements:

o   Sizes from other brands: Medium, 30-32, 40

o   Height: 5'10" - 6'0"

o   Chest: Around 40"

o   Waist: 33" - 35"

o   Low Hip: 41" - 43"

       Extreme preferences in how garments fit; a lot of experience trying on clothes from a variety of brands. 

       Understanding of your body and how garments from other brands typically fit.
