What is a model home greeter?

Model Home Greeters are professionals who welcome visitors to model homes in new housing developments. They provide information about the property, answer questions, and help prospective buyers understand the features and benefits of the home. Their role is crucial in creating a positive first impression and ensuring guests have a pleasant and informative experience. Model Home Greeters also collect visitor information and may schedule follow-up appointments with sales agents.

What are the main responsibilities of a model home greeter during a typical workday?

As a Model Home Greeter, your primary responsibility is to welcome visitors, provide them with information about the property, and guide them through the model home. You will also collect visitor information for follow-up, answer basic questions about the home and community, and relay leads to the sales team. The role often involves working weekends, maintaining a tidy presentation of the home, and collaborating closely with sales agents to ensure a seamless visitor experience.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a model home greeter, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Model Home Greeter, you generally need strong interpersonal skills, a professional appearance, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with CRM software, scheduling tools, and basic office equipment is typically required. Outstanding communication, friendliness, and the ability to make guests feel welcome are crucial soft skills. These abilities are essential for creating positive first impressions, gathering client information, and supporting the sales team in a real estate environment.
