The starting pay for this position is $20.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. As a Mobile Tire Technician, you are always on the move, utilizing innovative mobile e-commerce technology, and fulfilling customers' tire needs. You will be responsible for operating one of our cutting-edge vans serving customers at their homes and places of work. But your job goes beyond installing tires, you will be engaging with customers and answering any tire questions they may have. No experience installing tires? No worries! Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Be Limited To
  • Performing basic tire services (e.g., mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs) using a Roll by Goodyear mobile van to provide the simplest, most convenient experience possible.
  • Delivering outstanding customer service by answering questions, explaining the installation process, while always fully understanding the customer's needs
  • Demonstrating proficient knowledge of our products and services including warranties, promotions, and advertisements
  • Working as part of the Roll by Goodyear team with the store network and customer service
  • Enjoy daily independence on your route, safely driving the van between appointments, and representing Roll by Goodyear
  • Conduct proper safety checks when installing tires
  • Performing a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting (consumer tires and wheels), standing, bending, and squatting
  • Opportunity to travel to other cities outside of your home market to train others or receive additional training on new technology and techniques

Basic Qualifications
  • Previous customer service experience is required
  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • A valid driver's license and safe driving record
  • No relocation is being offered for this position
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous tire installation experience (if not, we are happy to train you!)
  • High school diploma/GED

  • You are excellent at managing your time, but also flexible knowing your schedule won't always be exactly the same
  • This position requires the ability to read, understand, and follow all procedures and guidelines.
  • Depending on location, our business may be open 7 days a week which can include some weekends and holiday shifts
