Security Patrol Officer (EV Charging Stations)

Schedule:Sunday and Monday9:00 PM – 6:00 AMPosition Summary

We are seeking highly professional and reliable Security Patrol Officers to provide mobile patrol services for multiple Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station locations throughout the Fresno area. Officers will deter criminal activity, protect property, ensure safety, and report hazards or maintenance issues. This driving position plays a critical role in maintaining safe, secure, and operational EV charging stations for public use.

Key Responsibilities

Patrol & Deterrence

  • Conduct randomized and scheduled vehicle patrols of assigned EV charging station sites
  • Inspect stations for vandalism, theft, tampering, loitering, or unauthorized vehicle parking
  • Ensure lighting, signage, and surrounding areas are safe and operational
  • Maintain a visible security presence using a marked patrol vehicle

Site Inspections

  • Inspect charging stations, kiosks, payment terminals, and charging equipment
  • Identify and document graffiti, equipment damage, or safety hazards
  • Ensure charging areas remain clean, accessible, and free of obstructions
  • Interact professionally with customers and members of the public

Reporting & Documentation

  • Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) with detailed observations
  • Submit Incident Reports for vandalism, theft, hazards, or critical incidents
  • Utilize electronic reporting applications with time-stamped notes and photographs
  • Maintain GPS-verified patrol logs throughout the shift

Training & Equipment

  • Complete EV charging station inspection training
  • Wear the required uniform and utilize assigned equipment
  • Operate company patrol vehicles safely and in accordance with company policy

Performance Standards

  • Complete all required reports before the end of each shift
  • Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service
  • Follow all client post orders and company policies
  • Maintain consistent communication with dispatch and supervisors

Working Conditions

  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Vehicle-based patrols with routine site inspections
  • Additional coverage opportunities may be available based on operational needs

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 25 years of age
  • Active California BSIS Guard Card
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Prior vehicle patrol or mobile security experience preferred
  • Experience using mobile reporting applications and GPS tracking systems preferred
  • Ability to drive, walk, and inspect multiple locations throughout the shift
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Reliable transportation to and from the reporting location
