Job Summary:
Prolaio is dedicated to transforming heart care through technology-driven solutions. They are seeking a Mobile Software Engineer/Android Developer to enhance their mobile application capabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop impactful mobile solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications using Kotlin and related technologies.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate state-of-the-art algorithms into mobile applications and deliver great user experiences.
• Optimize mobile app performance, ensuring efficiency, reusability, and responsiveness across a wide variety of mobile devices.
• Work with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs that interface with the mobile app.
• Write unit tests and UI automation tests using tools like Espresso, UI Automator, JUnit, and Appium.
• Work closely with data scientists, product teams, and engineers to align data solutions with business and product needs.
• Tackle complex technical challenges and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Mobile Software Engineer, Android Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong experience with Kotlin for Android development.
• Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as MVP, MVVM, or MVC.
• Experience with unit testing and UI automation using tools like Espresso, UI Automator, JUnit, or Appium.
• Experience with integrating RESTful APIs into mobile applications.
• Proficiency in mobile frameworks and libraries such as Jetpack Compose, Firebase, and ktor.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote-first environment.
• Fluent in English.
Preferred:
• Kotlin Multiplatform: Experience working on Kotlin Multiplatform projects for both Android and iOS.
• BLE Devices: Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices.
