• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify patients' mental health status, strengths, and needs, ensuring that the assessment process is comprehensive and sensitive to individual circumstances.
• Utilize evidence-based therapies, including techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to foster positive mental health outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to establish a holistic, integrated approach to patient care, enhancing overall treatment efficacy.
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management, ensuring clear communication and understanding of treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities, customizing approaches based on the unique dynamics of each group.
• Develop and refine personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team, incorporating patient goals and preferences while aligning with established therapeutic guidelines.
• Assist patients in navigating the complexities of the mental health system, advocating for their rights and needs, which may include coordinating access to resources and services.
• Lead therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning meetings to ensure comprehensive support for patients as they progress through their treatment.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
