About the Organization

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we pride ourselves on offering comprehensive healthcare services that encompass mental health and emotional support. Our hospice center is committed to delivering personalized and compassionate care to patients facing terminal illnesses. We believe in treating the whole person and support multidisciplinary approaches that include physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of healthcare.

Work Environment

As a remote social worker, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule while remaining connected to a supportive network of healthcare professionals. You will work from the comfort of your own space, reducing commute stress and allowing for a work-life balance that promotes your well-being, all while you engage deeply with patients and their families in their most vulnerable moments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate the emotional and psychological needs of patients and their families.
  • Develop tailored treatment plans and therapeutic interventions that address specific patient challenges and enhance their quality of life.
  • Implement solution-based therapeutic practices, utilizing evidence-based strategies to empower patients and families during their journey.
  • Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely manner using our secure electronic health record system.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate holistic care for patients.
  • Provide education and resources to patients and families regarding adjustative strategies, coping mechanisms, and available support services.
  • Remain updated on the latest advancements in mental health research and explore innovative practices that can improve patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients who are receiving hospice care, often facing terminal illnesses such as cancer, organ failure, or dementia. The role entails not just addressing their psychological needs, but also providing crucial emotional support to families, helping them navigate grief and decision-making during difficult times. Your expertise will directly enhance the patient experience and bolster their dignity and comfort during their end-of-life journey.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid LCSW license in the state of Tennessee.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or relevant field is required, although candidates with a Master's degree are preferred.
  • Strong understanding and experience in solution-based psychotherapy interventions.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to effectively engage with patients and families.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life issues.
  • Experience with electronic health records and telehealth platforms to facilitate virtual patient interactions.
  • Familiarity with interdisciplinary team dynamics in a healthcare environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The yearly salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a competitive benefits package that includes:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to support your health needs.
  • Life and disability insurance for added peace of mind.
  • Professional liability insurance covering your practice.
  • An employee assistance program to support your mental health and well-being.
  • Minimal paperwork requirements to allow you to focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks.
  • A full caseload ensuring a busy and fulfilling work schedule.

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we believe in investing in our team members' professional development. We provide ongoing training and learning opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge in mental health and hospice care.
