Job Title: X-Ray Tech (Days)
Position Summary
The X-Ray Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment, operating mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging equipment safely and effectively. This role requires strong technical expertise, solid clinical experience, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with department protocols and

physician orders.
  • Operate mobile and stationary radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging equipment safely and

effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, including radiation safety

standards.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and proper

positioning.
  • Start IVs and administer contrast media when required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records within PACS and EMR systems.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support

optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality assurance, performance improvement, and equipment maintenance

activities.
Qualifications
  • Current State licensure and Fluoroscopy Permit (as required) - required.
  • ARRT-R certification - required (CT ARRT preferred, if applicable).
  • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program - required.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certification - required.
  • Venipuncture certificate with demonstrated IV start proficiency - required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray / Radiologic Technologist - preferred.
  • At least 1 year of acute care clinical radiology experience - preferred.
Shift Details
  • 15:00 - 23:30 (Days).
  • 5x8, 40 hours per week guaranteed.
  • Assignment dates: 08/17/2026 - 10/11/2026.
  • No on-call.
  • Garden City, MI.
Compensation
  • $1960.00/week gross (40 guaranteed hours)
  • Housing & meals stipend available for qualifying travelers (amount finalized with your recruiter within IRS/GSA limits)
  • Local candidates: $49.00/hr
