As a Digital Product Manager at RONA, you will play a pivotal role in the Digital Product team in driving the success and shaping the future of our online retail platforms (e-commerce websites, mobile applications and internal user tools).

You will drive product strategy, development, and optimization to enhance the customer journey, increase conversion rates, and drive revenue growth. With your strategic vision and data-driven approach, you will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations and drive business results.

Your role

Product Strategy

Partner with Product Leadership, UX, Engineering and Digital Business teams to define and execute a scalable product strategy for RONA.ca's core digital experiences (including PLP, PDP, and Browse), aligning execution with broader e-commerce and business goals.

Product Execution

Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle for core RONA.ca experiences by performing product discovery, requirements gathering, iterative development and backlog management processes, while establishing high product standards and prioritization frameworks that balance immediate optimizations with long-term scalability across future digital domains.

User Experience Optimization

Maximize RONA.ca's traffic, conversion, and engagement by leveraging web analytics, data layer insights, and A/B testing to identify pain points, prioritize the backlog, and deliver high-performing, SEO-optimized, and accessible frontend components.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as the central translator between business requirements and technical execution to align marketing, content, operations, and engineering, while managing strategic relationships with internal and external technology partners and third-party service providers across the e-commerce ecosystem.

Performance Tracking

Evaluate product success by tracking core e-commerce metrics, leveraging data and customer feedback to prioritize optimization opportunities, and presenting performance insights to stakeholders and leadership.

User & Customer Research

Lead discovery initiatives-using interviews, usability testing, and analytics data-to uncover customer and internal team needs, partner with UX to validate prototypes, and build strong business cases for the product roadmap.

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of product management or product owner experience in the e-commerce industry, preferably within retail or consumer goods.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing e-commerce products and features that drive business value.

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce technologies, platforms, and best practices.

  • Experience with agile development methodologies, user-centered design principles, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels and presentation skills.
