Vevo is available on YouTube, Samsung, Samsung TV Plus, Roku, The Roku Channel, Pluto TV, Amazon Prime Video, VIZIO WatchFree+, Foxtel, Hulu + Live TV, Sling Freestream, and Rakuten TV.
About Role:
We are expanding our social team and looking for a Social Content Producer for a new role dedicated to high-volume, high-quality social asset creation.
You are a visual storyteller and a social native who lives and breathes video editing and graphic design. Whether it is cutting a fast-paced 9x16 video or designing a highly engaging Instagram carousel, you know exactly what stops a scroll. You will be the engine of our social content creation, combining technical editing skills with a sharp editorial instinct to transform interviews, music videos, and cultural moments into optimized, platform-perfect social assets.
As a member of our team, you will:
Video Editing & Asset Creation
  • Create at Scale: Serve as the primary creator for daily social assets, churning out high-quality content at the speed of social media.
  • Master Vertical Video: Edit, format, and optimize short-form video specifically for 9x16 environments (TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts).
  • Design for Engagement: Execute light graphic design work, with an emphasis on creating visually arresting and highly shareable Instagram carousels.
  • Optimize for the Platform: Apply platform-specific best practices to every asset, ensuring pacing, text placement, safe zones, and visual hooks are perfectly aligned with native algorithms.

Editorial Judgment & Collaboration
  • Mine for Gold: Review longer-form interview footage and raw capture, independently identifying the most engaging, viral, or meaningful soundbites for social engagement.
  • Partner with Producers: Collaborate closely with the original content producers and the wider social team to make quick, sharp judgment calls on which clips will resonate best with our audience.
  • Maintain Visual Identity: Ensure all exported assets align with Vevo's brand guidelines while pushing the boundaries of modern social aesthetics.

This describes you:
  • Social Fluency: A deep, intuitive understanding of what performs well on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. You know how to build a hook in the first three seconds and how to structure a carousel to maximize swipe-through rates.
  • Editorial Ear: The ability to listen to a 15-minute interview and instantly know which 15-second clip will perform best on TikTok.
  • Agility & Speed: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can turn around polished video and graphic assets quickly without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
  • Music Passion: A genuine love for music, artists, and music video culture.

Requirements
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience producing and editing content specifically for social media brands, publishers, or agencies.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with video/graphics editing software, primary social-first (Capcut, Figma, Adobe Express) Experience with the Adobe Suite is a plus (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Adobe Photoshop).

Interested? Great! You might like to know:
  • We're a fun, energetic, and tight knit team
  • We really enjoy music and technology
  • We have excellent compensation and benefits packages
  • We have premier access to music content and new releases of original media content
