About the Job Sr HVAC Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including hot water, DX, chillers, cooling towers, fan systems, VFDs, and low voltage controls
  • Conduct equipment inspections, start-ups, commissioning, and preventative maintenance
  • Provide technical training and support to clients and team members
  • Identify opportunities for new services and solutions
  • Travel within the assigned territory (Dubuque to Waterloo, Burlington, Grinnell, eastern Iowa, western Illinois, Missouri to Minnesota)
  • Maintain accurate service records using company laptop and mobile systems

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of HVAC experience, preferably in industrial or commercial settings
  • Expertise in VRV/VRF systems, Daikin equipment, and refrigeration service
  • HVAC license and EPA certification
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication
  • Valid drivers license
  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
  • Physical capability to lift 75 lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces
