BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a similar degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. MSME a Plus.
  • 2 to 5ย years of professional hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with definition and implementation of test automationย 
  • Experience with the use of off-the-shelf mechanical test equipmentย 
  • Experience with test execution, data collection and analysis
  • Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
  • Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Background checks are required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Masterโ€™s in Mechanical Engineeringย 
  • Experience with thermal, vibration, and stress analysis and verification/validationย 
  • Experience with Python or other programming languages for data analysis, automation, or test scriptingย 
  • Language- Mandarin
  • Experience with NXย  ย  ย  ย 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design novel hardware solutions and custom fixturesย 
  • Build new mechanical designs and define validation requirementsย 
  • Create test cases and design/implement testsย 
  • Clearly communicate test plans and results with XFN teamsย 
  • Support mechanical tester bring up and FA activitiesย 
  • Own execution, interpretation, test data analysis, and reporting of mechanical system level validation work status and resultsย 
  • Ensure thorough documentation of test procedures and resultsย 
  • Continuously improve testing methodologies and infrastructureย 
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical issuesย
