Working in Engineering
You will be joining a team of IT professionals who perform tasks ranging from end user support, remote Linux server deployments, DevOps based software deployments, and management of cloud infrastructure and services.
We are looking to hire a Sr. IT & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Palm Beach, FL Office. This role reports to the Lead Platform Engineer. In this traditional IT role, you will primarily administer, support, and secure user devices and applications. The role also offers opportunity for exposure to cloud infrastructure configuration and supporting our development team. We are always exploring new technologies, so curiosity and a willingness to learn is a must. This is a great growth opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities
  • Assist employees with day-to-day technology support
  • Security-focused administration of third-party SaaS solutions and assist with responding to security alerts
  • Responsible for security-focused deployment, administration, maintenance and monitoring of Windows and Linux server and container environment
  • Automate administration and management tasks using scripting and automation tools
  • Administration of Azure/AWS cloud environments
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of VDI environment
  • Ongoing improvement to overall security posture
  • Work with software development team to support infrastructure needs in development, QA, and production environments

Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Azure and/or AWS infrastructure administration experience
  • Experience with Endpoint and Mobile Device Management solutions
  • Experience with Python and/or PowerShell scripting
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts
  • Business oriented, results driven individual with a desire to learn and grow
  • Ability to effectively communicate with distributed team
  • Self-motivated, comfortable managing a diverse workload

Additional Qualifications/Pluses
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender toolset
  • Experience with Linux operating systems
  • History working with WSL instances
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools
  • Experience administering SaaS enterprise applications/systems such as Salesforce
