Job Description:Seeking a Principal Mobile Engineer to lead technical design and feasibility efforts for enterprise-scale, customer-facing mobile applications while partnering closely with product and engineering leadership to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Partner with product teams to evaluate feature feasibility and technical effort.
  • Create detailed technical implementation documentation aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Lead technical design discussions and serve as the mobile subject matter expert.
  • Provide guidance and technical direction to engineering teams throughout development.
  • Build proof-of-concepts to evaluate new technologies and approaches.
  • Support tooling integrations including authentication, observability, monitoring, and analytics.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly recommendations.
  • Assist with production support, troubleshooting, and release activities.
  • Contribute to long-term mobile architecture and technology roadmap.
  • Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the platform.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of software engineering experience with strong end-to-end/full-stack knowledge.
  • 5 years of hands-on React Native development.
  • Strong JavaScript and Node.js experience.
  • Experience building enterprise, customer-facing mobile applications.
  • Experience with authentication and authorization platforms (Auth0 or similar B2C identity solutions).
  • Experience integrating payment solutions (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, etc.).
  • Experience implementing push notifications.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs and mobile application architecture.
  • Experience collaborating directly with product managers and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience creating technical documentation and implementation specifications.
  • Familiarity with Git, Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
