Fox Technology is looking for a Bilingual Spanish Master Control Operator to join their team in Tempe, AZ! In this role, you will be part of the Media Operations team, which is responsible for delivering a high-quality viewer experience to millions of viewers across FOX networks, digital platforms, mobile applications, websites, and licensing partnerships. In short, we bring great FOX content to YOU!

This role supports a 24/7 environment which requires a very flexible schedule. Currently, we are hiring for 4x10 schedules which will include weekend, holiday and overnight availability. Days off may/may not be consecutive. The training period may differ slightly to include a 5x8 work schedule.

Fox Technology busca un Operador Bilingue de Control Maestro (espanol-ingles) para unirse a su equipo en Tempe, AZ. Esta posicion forma parte del equipo de Operaciones de Medios, responsable de entregar una experiencia de visualizacion de alta calidad a millones de personas a traves de las redes FOX, plataformas digitales, aplicaciones moviles, sitios web y alianzas de licencias. En resumen: llevamos el gran contenido de FOX hasta ti!

Este rol trabaja en un entorno operativo 24/7, por lo que requiere un horario muy flexible. Actualmente, buscamos personas para horarios de 4 dias x 10 horas, incluyendo disponibilidad durante fines de semana, dias festivos y turnos nocturnos. El periodo de entrenamiento puede requerir un horario temporal de 5x8.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Media Ingest, Assembly & Distribution

• Provide support for quality control, processing, assembly, playout, and distribution activities for pre-programmed and live content

• Play a key role in the technical workflows to support distribution across linear and Over the Top (OTT) delivery

• On-air switching and running master control automation playlists in both multicast and live sports environments

Collaboration & Partnerships

• Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery teams

• Partner with Live Media and other Media Operations teams and steps in to help in other areas as needed

• Work closely with all business units and provide world class customer service support

Training and Career Development

RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES

Ingesta, Ensamblaje y Distribucion de Medios

• Soporte en control de calidad, procesamiento, ensamblaje, reproduccion y distribucion de contenido en vivo o preprogramado.

• Participacion clave en flujos tecnicos para distribucion en television lineal y plataformas OTT (Over The Top).

• Operaciones al aire y manejo de listas automatizadas de programacion, tanto en multitransmisiones como en deportes en vivo.

Colaboracion y Alianzas

• Apoyo a los equipos de Continuidad del Negocio y Recuperacion de Desastres.

• Colaboracion con los equipos de Medios en Vivo y otras areas operativas segun se requiera.

• Proveer un servicio al cliente excepcional a todas las unidades del negocio.

Capacitacion y Desarrollo Profesional

• Oportunidades continuas para aprender nuevas habilidades, especialmente en tecnologias emergentes.

• Participacion en programas de desarrollo profesional para avanzar en tu carrera.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• Bi-Lingual Spanish/English

• Knowledge of emerging technologies such as 4K High Dynamic Range, and HDR10+

• Knowledge of industry standards such asAdvanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA) and Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE)

LO QUE NECESITAS

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $28.75-31.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
