A leading energy and utility organization is seeking someone to join their Fusion Center in Allentown, PA. This team supports critical infrastructure and network operations, ensuring connectivity and reliability for both internal teams and a highly mobile field workforce.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates with a recent MIS (Management Information Systems) degree and hands-on experience or internships in IT support or networking. The role offers strong career growth potential and a clear pathway to full-time employment.

• Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for network and infrastructure issues
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity, remote access, and hardware issues
• Perform root cause analysis of network and system problems
• Support internal users, field technicians, and external partners
• Assist with monitoring and support of network operations (NOC-like environment)
• Support applications tied to utility operations (e.g., grid systems, OMS, ADMS)
• Maintain and troubleshoot:
  • Laptops, desktops, and handheld devices
  • Network connectivity (wired/wireless)
  • Server and application environments

• Experience with Cisco networking
• Familiarity with NOC (Network Operations Center) environments
• Wireless networking support
• Basic infrastructure and monitoring tools
• Experience supporting mobile devices, handhelds, or field technology

• Highly regulated utility environment
• Requires flexibility to support multiple technologies and systems
• Collaboration with both IT teams and field operations
• Shift-based schedule (first or second shift required)

• Exposure to enterprise-scale infrastructure and mission-critical systems

This is a Contract position based out of Allentown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
