Job Description

Sr. Web Developer with LAMP stack skills

Location - Woodlands, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will be a lead developer working on Client's web applications.
  • Interact with backend developers to develop REST APIs
  • Interact with mobile developers to add functionality to client's mobile applications.
  • Write functional specs and technical specs.
  • Write test cases and coordinate unit and user acceptance tests.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of web development experience.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience using web technologies including HTML5, CSS, JS, React, Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP
  • Very good understanding of mobile application development (iOS and Android applications using Cordova)
  • Excellent understanding of web application development, architecture, and security best practices
  • Ability to work on multiple parallel projects in (digital) software development
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript and with at least one modern JavaScript web application framework (React, Angular, etc.).
  • Master in SQL coding.
  • Excellent knowledge of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
  • Understanding of at least one modern PHP framework
  • Experience of Git/GitHub version control
  • Ability to work in fast paced, complex environments with the ability to be adaptable to change
  • Experience in integrating systems using APIs
  • Strong knowledge REST APIs, XML knowledge required
  • Experience in Agile (Scrum /Kanban etc.)
