Senior Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot & Microservices
Position Overview
Build and support scalable backend systems using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot while working with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based applications. This role offers the opportunity to design and develop backend services, integrate with external systems, and contribute to application performance, security, reliability, and deployment processes.
What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
  • Build robust and scalable RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
  • Develop microservices-based architecture and integrate with external systems.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders.
  • Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of applications.
  • Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and OAuth2.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with Java 8+ features, including Streams and Lambda expressions.
  • Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA.
  • Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
