12 month contract for a Product Owner role with a leading client in Peoria, IL. APPLY NOW!!!!

Title: Product Owner (Digital/Software delivery)

Location: Peoria, IL

Workplace type:100% onsite

Hours: flexible but high preference to someone who has flexibility starting  shift at 6 or 7 am CST at times

Type: Contract

Pay: $46-46.77/hour on w2

Length: 12 months

Screenings: no tech, full panel drug and background once hired

IV process: 1-2 rounds

+optional benefits, long term contract with ability to extend or convert to full time

Must haves:

  • Comfortable with domestic travel up to 15-25% of role
  • Comfortable with Hours: flexible but high preference to someone who has flexibility starting  shift at 6 or 7 am CST at times
  • Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree ( engineering, CS and/or Communications) with a minimum with 2-4 years exp- internships can be counted as experience
  • Strong attention to detail/great communication (written, spoken, etc)
  • Someone who has experience with: understand, digest and regurgitate technical info and needs to a development team
  • Experience writing features
  • Experience writing user stories-breaking down a big piece of work (the epic) into smaller, actionable tasks (user stories)
  • User testing experience

Project resource will be working on: WSA - VL Acceleration. This Digital Product Owner will be primarily working on VisionLink Mobile requirements spanning across most of the VisionLink Acceleration sub workstreams.

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

  •  The VisionLink Acceleration sub workstream of WorkStream A (Support Segment Growth Initiatives) requires Cat Digital to accelerate VisionLink deliverables.
  • Specifically, we need an additional resource to ensure our Mobile application requirements and designs are completed in a timely matter so we can meet our Segment partner's timelines.

Interaction with team:

  • Team interactions is 50% of the time with the local team, 25% of the time, interactions with Team in India and 25% of time working with external customers.
  • Teams consists of roughly 7 folks.

Work environment:

  • 3 days in office with the possibility of this moving to 5 days eventually, so candidates must be able to do that when required.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Degree Required (Y/N) and number of years exp required: Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree ( engineering, CS and/or Communications) with a minimum with 2-4 years exp in this capacity is a HARD requirement (internship exp is allowed as well) .
